About Us

“Teamwork makes the dream work” is the philosophy that Sav-On Carpets has used to create over three generations of strong business and even stronger friendships. Sav-On is a family-owned business where employees, clients, and builders are treated like family.

In 1976, the Robinson family opened their first Sav-On Carpets store in the Great Bridge Shopping Center in Chesapeake.  They built their reputation one customer at a time.  Even now they treat each client as if they were the only one.

The flooring selection is extensive, offering carpet, ceramic tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl and pure vinyl tile.  Within those categories you will find hundreds of textures, colors and patterns.  For those who are environmentally conscious, Sav-On Carpets offers a line of eco-friendly floor coverings. All at the best price possible. Our regular price is often better than our competitors advertised sale price!

Visitors to Sav-On’s Greenbrier location are greeted by Dot Miller’s smiling face. Dot has a clear understanding of what customer service is and she knows what it takes to attend to the needs of our customers. They are looking for someone to work with them and to be honest, and Dot fills that need to a tee.

Justin Hartley and Mike Helton are the master installers, fast and efficient, who pride themselves on outstanding workmanship.

Along with the amazing selection of flooring, Sav-On also provides custom window treatments by interior designer, Judy Crow. As an independent design consultant, Judy has partnered with Esther for over 20 years, specializing in custom window treatments that reflect her creative flair in color and design.

Sav-On Carpets has a long history and deep roots in Hampton Roads.  They embody the rare character of delivering a professional product with small town service.  The Sav-On team wants to personally touch each client leaving more than a positive business experience, but rather a family legacy.
